Wichita Falls area churches announce services

Wichita Falls First Baptist Church, Wichita Falls First Baptist Church has changed some worship service hours for their campuses. We invite you to join us at any of our services.

  • The downtown campus, 1200 9th Street, will host their mixed worship service with choir, worship team and orchestra on Sunday at 8:15 am. Contemporary worship is offered at 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m.
  • The West Campus, 4317 Barnett Road, offers contemporary services at 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. every Sunday. Sheppard Church, 2101 Puckett, will offer contemporary service at 11 a.m.
  • Living groups are available for all ages every Sunday.
  • Sunday morning services are broadcast live on CFNT, cable channel 10 or live on 20.1 or 24.1 every Sunday at 8:15 am and 11:00 am. The services are also advertised on our website as well as on our Facebook page.

First Christian Church, 3701 boulevard Taft, 940-692-2292,; The new Sunday morning worship sermon series is titled “On the Road with Paul.” Sunday schools will take place at 9:30 am. Worship is at 8:40 am or 10:45 am. The 10:45 am service is broadcast live on Facebook or YouTube. Wednesday night events start at 5:30 p.m. A work scholarship is followed by a Bible study and a worship service at 6 pm on the theme of “accidental Pharisees”. The Holiday Bible School will be held July 26-30 from 9 a.m. to noon. Children aged 4 to 5 are welcome to attend. Registration is done on

First Presbyterian Church, 3601 Taft Blvd., At 10:30 am this Sunday, June 13, 2021, Reverend Michael T. Hansen will continue his series of sermons on the Colossians. Sunday’s message is titled “Live As We Are” and is based on Colossians 3: 5-17.

The congregational life committee and Thursday morning bible study volunteers for men will jointly present the “fish fry”. The event will take place in the Fellowship Hall starting at 6:00 p.m. on June 16, 2021. Reservations can be made on the Church website or through the Church office. Admission is $ 6 per person or $ 20 for a family of four.

An event for 5th grade students will take place on June 25, 2021 at 6 p.m. in the Undercroft.

Sunday morning worship will continue live and in person in the shrine at 10:30 am.

First United Methodist Church in Iowa Park, 201 E. Bank: Come worship with us at 9 am on Sunday. Social distancing and security measures are respected. At this time, we still do not have any Sunday School or Fellowship events.

Mount Pleasant: The Children’s Church will have its first assembly Sunday at the 10:00 a.m. service. All members are requested to use the Harding Street entrance and wear a face mask. If you are unable to do the service, deacons will be available on the Bailey Street side of the church 30 minutes after the service if you wish to contribute tithing, offer and receive the Lord’s Supper. New Hope Presbyterian: Starting Sunday May 23, we started worshiping at 10:30 am in a temporary location at 1801 TX 11, Loop, Wichita Falls. This is the former site of Christ United Presbyterian Church and we are permitted to use the facilities until our building is completed. We will be able to distance ourselves socially and we will have masks available for anyone who wishes to wear them indoors. But we can worship together again. We ask you to wear a mask if you have not been vaccinated. Our services will continue to be available on our FB page to those who, locally and across the country, have joined in the past year.

Baptist Church of New Jerusalem, 1420 Borton Lane: New Jerusalem offers meals for those in lockdown, food distribution through the Wichita Falls area food bank mobile pantry, clothing and health checks on the fourth Saturday of each month of 9 a.m. to noon. Presbyterian Church of the Trinity, 4403 Phillips: The church resumed in-person worship services at 11 a.m. on Sunday. Social distancing will be respected and masks are encouraged. Services will continue online on the Facebook page.

Wichita Falls Metropolitan Community Church, 1401 Travis (14th Street): The Wichita Falls Metropolitan Community Church is open for in-person worship services every Sunday at 11 a.m. Join us at the corner of 14th and Travis for an uplifting worship service! Until further notice, wearing a mask is mandatory and social distancing will be respected. The services will continue to be broadcast on Zoom and Facebook Live.
